Josiah not too sure of the pumpkin
Caleb and Daddy carving the big pumpkin
The night before last, we took time to carve our pumpkins. Caleb had been waiting all day for this event. He was very determined that he should create the designs of the pumpkins. With Daddy's help, the pumpkins turned out pretty well. I am surprised that both boys have no desire to stick their hands inside the pumpkins and get dirty cleaning them out. They have no problem getting dirty in the mud outside. So, Mommy had the fun task of cleaning the pumpkins out. Caleb was pleased with the final results and thought it was pretty cool when we lit candles inside (the first year to do that). He could hardly wait for the Fall Festival the following night.
