8 Week Doctor Visit

Levi workimg on lifting his head last week

Levi will be 2 months on Monday. Today, he went for his eight week check up. I always enjoy comparing the boys in their growth so here are the stats for the 8 week visit:

Caleb
Weight: 13 pounds, 13 ounces
Height: 24 3/4 inches

Josiah
Weight: 13 pounds, 15 ounces (95th percentile)
Height: 24 inches (90th percentile)

Levi:
Weight: 13 pounds, 5 ounces (90th percentile)
Height: 24 inches (90th percentile)

Overall, Dr. Bob said he looked great. Levi had his first round of vaccines today. He was a trooper. One was an oral vaccine for rotovirus and the other was the DTaP. We have to go back in a month for another two shots. I really like how our doctors space out the vaccines. It was so much easier on Josiah instead of getting four at one time like Caleb did. Dr. Bob's only concern was that he detected a minor heart murmur. That means that next week, we take him for an ultrasound to look at his heart. Our doctor is not very concerned and says it is very minor. We trust him very much. Monday morning, I'll call and make the appointment. God has definitely kept me from getting stressed about this. Typically, I would be very worried and thinking about this until the ultrasound, but I'm not worried or stressed or even emotional. I will post later with the results.
