Easter on the Road

The best group picture of the three
Celebrating Easter on the road was quite interesting. Dying Easter eggs took place outside on a picnic bench near the camper. The boys were thrilled that Daddy was able to participate this year. I wish I would have taken a few pictures of Kerry's one of a kind eggs. Sunday morning found us going to church at Saddleback. We actually drove together as a family. Not the norm when your husband is typically working at church on the weekends. I have to admit, it felt kind of weird, like it wasn't normal. But we still had fun. Kerry and Caleb went to Overdrive while I took Josiah and Levi to the Family venue. After that, we enjoyed lunch as a family and went back to the campground for the traditional Easter egg hunt. I've learned over the past 2 and a half years that we've been in California, that it truly doesn't matter where you are as long as you are together as a family and keep some of the traditions consistent. The boys had just as much fun this year hunting eggs in the campground as they did last year hunting Easter eggs at Saddleback since Daddy was up at church all day Sunday or hunting them in our house the year before when it was raining outside. The most important thing is that we are together as a family with God as our focus.
