Levi Turns 2!

I can't believe that Levi is now 2! My Mom flew into town this past Thursday to help celebrate Levi's birthday. Levi's birthday was on Saturday, the 7th of March and it was a very busy day. After breakfast and taking some time to get ready, we celebrated Levi's birthday. He had a blast opening his birthday presents and being the center of attention. After birthday presents, he got to blow out his candles and then eat his birthday cake. I was shocked that he was able to blow out his candles without help.

So much has happened in this year of Levi's life. He experienced life in an rv, learned how to walk, became a big brother, made 2 trips to the emergency room, and is beginning to talk a lot. Some things I want to remember about Levi at this time in this life.

*He loves to sing at the top of his lungs.
*He likes animals, especially farm animals.
*He loves his pacis.
*He loves being a big brother.
*He wants to be able to do whatever his big brothers can do.
*He likes to bite, pinch, hit, and kick but then he turns around and gives the best hugs and kisses.
*He loves riding dirt bikes and cries when it's time to get off.
*He thinks it's okay to color all over his body since Daddy has pictures on his arms.
*He has transitioned from his crib to an air mattress on the floor. He doesn't sleep too well sharing a bed with Josiah. One of these days we'll get him a real bed, but he seems to enjoy his bed close to the floor.
*He has been in 10 states this year as we drove from one side of the country to the other plus a trip to Oklahoma and one to Arkansas.
*He knows how to use the bathroom in the potty. Now we need to work on consistency.
*He has learned that the word please can go a long way.
*His cry can break my heart.
*He still loves to snuggle.

We love you, Levi! Happy Birthday!

Oh how sweet! I still can't believe he is 2! Oh my gosh I am still laughing at Levi thinking it is ok to color on himself due to daddy. And your mom teaching Levi to scoop the cake off with the farm animal. How great it will be when we get to teach our grand kids wonderful tricks like our moms do! Looks like you all had a wonderful day! Glad Levi felt so blessed on his special day!
