School Begins: Making Soap

This past week we started our normal school routine. We were definitely way off our normal schedule so it took us a few days to get back into the swing of things. Caleb is excited to officially be in the fourth grade. It seems to take him the longest to get back in the grove. I'm seeing he needs more rest so he can focus better during the day. This year Josiah is focusing on prekindergarten. He is thrilled, and it's exciting to see him work so hard. He is a bit of a perfectionist and gets frustrated when a letter or drawing doesn't look just right. I constantly encourage him that as long as he tries his very best then that's all that matters. Levi thinks he's just as big as Josiah and doesn't miss out on anything. I think Levi will catch on quickly and it's fun working with two so close in age at the same time. This week the boys made soap. I don't think it was the greatest recipe but they had a blast making it anyway. Caleb and Josiah said that the soap worked great. It's going to be a fun year!
